Ashland Progress
Called By Death Mrs. Vivian Stockdale, 42, died at her home in the Sardis 
community last Friday morning, April 10th. Funeral services were held at Sardis 
Church on Saturday, April 11th at two o'clock. Reverends S. E. Maples, Ernest 
Knight and John A. Joiner officiated, and Blair directed. Interment was in nearby 
cemetery. Pallbearers were R. O. Blair, R. S. Blair, B. R. Blair, M. F. Hobbs, J. 
B. Smith and Wilson Baird. The deceased is survived by her husband, two daughters 
and one son.
