Randy Anderson and the Rev. Tommy Young officiating. Burial will be in New Harmony Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 tonight until service time. Mr. Strickland died Thursday at Clay County Hospital. Survivors include his wife, Ms. Grace Strickland of Lineville; six sons, David Strickland and Ricky Strickland, both of Ashland, Matt Strickland, Gary Strickland, Garr Strickland and Randy Strickland, all of Cragford; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Strickland of Lineville, Mrs. Burty Jim Foster of Pine Mountain, Ga., and Mrs. Jean Clardy of Largo, Fla.; a brother, Marvin Strickland of Knoxville, Tenn. and nine grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Junior Fables, Billy Joe Young, Johnny Patterson, Terry Bowen and Hugh Young. Mr. Strickland was a lifelong Clay County resident. He was a former lineman and a member of Mellow Valley Baptist Church.
