Anniston Star
Mrs. Daisy Strickland, 59, of Lineville died Wednesday at Clay County Hospital 
after a long illness. Funeral services were held Thursday at Mt. Zion Church of 
Christ.  Burial was in Union Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Bradford 
Strickland, Jim Frank Dingler, Frazier Bowling, M. C. Bell, Junior Bell and Vince 
Sprayberry. Survivors include her husband, Huel Strickland sons, Carlton, Jimmie 
and Roger Strickland, all of Lineville: two daughters, Mrs. Lowden Yates and Miss 
Linda Strickland of Lineville; 13 grandchildren.
