Ashland Progress
G. B. Strickland died at his home at Cragford on May 12th and was buried at Salem 
Baptist Church on Tuesday afternoon.
The service was conducted by Rev. S. C. Ray, assisted by Rev. O.C. Nichols. The 
deceased was 48 years of age and is survived by his wife, two brothers: Lloyd 
Strickland of Lineville, J. M. Strickland of Canon, Ga., and three sisters, Mrs. 
Jack Lambert of Cragford, Mrs. B. W. Harris of Beatrice, and Mrs. Grady Padgett 
of Elba.
