Alexander City Outlook
William Edward Strickland, 14-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Strickland, of 
Route 2, died at Russell Hospital on Tuesday, October 8. Funeral services were 
held Thursday, October 10, from Bethel Church with the Rev. Grady Birchfield 
officiating. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery, Radney Funeral Home in 
charge. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Willen, and two 
brothers, John Robert and Woodrow.
