Alexander City Outlook
Last rites were said Wednesday morning for Mrs. Mary F. Strickland, 85, who died 
at Russell Hospital after a short illness. The funeral services were conducted in 
the Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Grady Birchfield officiating. Interment 
in the adjoining cemetery with Radney Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Strickland is 
survived by three sons, O.B. Strickland of Alexander City, Arthur Strickland of 
Alexander City, S. J. Strickland of Alexander City; one daughter. Mrs. Lessie 
Smith of Alexander City, 22 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
