Funeral ser vices for Mrs. Striplin were held at the Bethel Church on July 2 at 2:00 in the afternoon. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery. Mrs. Striplin's other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Wellington Ligon, Delta, Alabama; two sons, Gordon of Delta and G. D. of Fayetteville, North Carolina; four grandchildren three brothers, Sherman and Leonard Knight of Anniston and Cullman Knight of Oxford; four sisters, Mrs. Frank Williamson, Heflin, Mrs. Dorothy Wright, Huntsville, Mrs. Earl Graben, Lineville and Mrs. Howard Pruitt of Anniston. Active pallbearers were her nephews Earnest Hogan, Cecil Wright, Bill Pruitt, Clarence Williamson, Clois Williamson and Hollis Crosson. Funeral arrangements were made by Dryden Funeral Home.
