Anniston Star
Final rites for G. A. Summerlin, age 70, of Delta were conducted at Shiloh 
Primitive Baptist Church this morning by the Rev. Mr. Shaddix. Interment was in 
Shiloh Cemetery, with Usrey in charge. Mr. Summerlin died at his residence at 
8:30 o'clock Thursday night. Surviving are the wife, two sons, W. E. of Anniston 
and R.P. Delta; four daughters, Mrs. R.A. Daugherty, Mrs. J. W. Smith. Mrs. W. W. 
Morrison and Miss Mattie Summerlin, all of Delta; a brother, J. R. Summerlin, 
Guntersville, and two sisters, Mrs. Della Hutchinson and Mrs. W.L. Carpenter 
Mozella, Miss.
