Anniston Star
Mrs. G. A. Summerlin, 99, of Millerville, died Friday at Lineville Hospital 
following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at Shiloh Baptist 
Church at Delta Sunday at 1 pm with Elder B. B. Finley and the Rev. Lavelle 
Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery joining with Blair 
Brown Service in charge. She a survived by three daughters, Mrs. Cora Smith and 
Mrs. Nettie Morrison, both of Anniston Mrs. Mattie Teel of Millerville; two sons, 
Russell P. Summerlin of Delta, and Rev. W. E. Summerlin of Anniston; 14 
grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Active 
pallbearers will be Harwell Smith, Charles Morrison, Eldred Summerlin, Billy 
Summerlin, LeCroy Teel and Pascal Daugherty.
