The Montgomery Advertiser
A telephone message from southwest Clay to this place announce the death of 
Robert Summers, a son of M. M. Summer, one of the County Commissioners. From what 
can be learned over the telephone, the young man was hauling logs to a sawmill 
and failed to return home last night. The family become anxious about him and 
instituted search for him. He was found about 3 a.m. today dead, in the woods. No 
bones were broken, but it appeared that a log had rolled ever him and crushed the 
life out of him.
