Ashland Progress
Mr. Jim John Swope, age 93, passed away Oct. 23, at his home at Delta. Funeral 
services were held Oct. 25, at Bethel Church with the Rev. Riddle, Rev. Shaddix 
and Rev. Brown officiating, Blair in charge. Active pallbearers were J. W. 
Huling, J. D. Johnson, Swope Whitley, W. T. Whitley, Lewis Johnson and Taft 
Fowler.
