She was a Methodist; but was not affiliating with the church at the time of her death. the church having gone down where her membership was and she had never affiliated at any other place, although she lived a consistent Christian life. She was loved by all who knew her; her greatest work in this life was to wait on the sick and was on duty 0f this kind at her sisters when the fatal disease, heart trouble, seized upon her vitals that bore her away, but thank God, it did not find her off guard; she was ready and more than willing to go at the call of the Master. She leaves many relatives and friends to mourn her departure. Oh, may they all emulate her example and be ready when the summons shall come. The funeral services were conducted by the writer, the remains of the deceased were laid to rest in the Simmons cemetery to await the redirection. Her Bro. in Christ, Rev. Turner Wright.
