B. Thomaston and claimed for His victim little Elsie. She was near the age of 12 and was a bright and studious little girl. To know her was to love her. She was practicing a temperance speech to recite on Children's Day at Pine Grove on the fourth Sunday in June, but she has gone where there is no need of temperance speeches, but all is peace and love. She leaves a father and mother, three brothers and one sister, besides & host of relatives and friends to mourn her death. We would commend the bereaved ones to Him who is too wise to make a mistake, and say to them, "Do not weep as those who have no hope". We know that Elsie is at rest with the Savior." We love you, Elsie, but angels loved you more. And they have sweetly called you to yonder shining shore.
