Mrs. Viola Parker Thomaston, 74, died Saturday afternoon at Citizens Hospital. 
Funeral services were to be held at 1 p. m. Monday at Blue Eye Baptist with 
burial at Mt. Moriah in Clay County. The Rev. Marvin Parton officiated. Surviving 
are six daughters, Mrs. Joe Kerr, Newell, Mrs. Edd Browning, Mrs. G. H. Cooper, 
Mrs. Ulman Pettis Lincoln; Mrs. Fred Sparks, Oxford: Mrs. Leon McManus, 
Birmingham. Three sons, Harvel and W. S. Thomaston, Lincoln; Herman, Bessmer, 
three brothers, five sisters, 29 grandchildren and 12 greatgrandchildren.
