Services for Mrs. Leila Mae Thornton 79, who died Sunday Dec 15 at the home of 
her son L. 0. Thornton here were held Monday afternoon Lineville Ala Baptist with 
burial following churchyard. Rev Willis Howard pastor of the First Baptist church 
of LaGrange assisted by the pastor of the Lineville Baptist church officiated 
Mrs. Thornton a native of Roanoke Ala had made her home here for fourteen years 
She was a member of the Lineville Baptist church Surviving her are: Two daughter 
Mrs. J.W. Stapp of Franklin Tenn and Mrs. John Denman of Brownwood Texas, one son
L.O. Thronton of LaGrange.
