Lineville Headlight
Mr. B.F. Thornton died Tuesday night by his fireside while reading. He had just 
eaten supper and was apparently well when the end came. Besides his wife, three 
children survive, one did not arrive for the funeral. Mr. Thornton had lived in 
Lineville for more than twenty years served town as carpenter, furniture 
builders, and one term as marshal. He was at present doing grocery business. He 
was a member of the Baptist church and attended Sunday school. Being in his 66th 
year. A well spent life had passed.
