Aubrey had gone into the woods a short distance from his stove wood after returning home from school at Millerville when his dog began as if he had "treed" a rabbit or something in a rock pile. The boy trusting hand in an opening in the rocks was bitten by a large snake. Realizing his condition, the lad hastened home for medical aid. Sidney Browing a neighbor hastily brought him to Ashland to a doctor but the deadly poison of the snake the boy's system too long and he died two hours. Besides the heartbroken parents are two brother and two sisters to mourn his untimely death. He will be buried at Millerville this afternoon. Neighbors went this morning to the place where the snake was in hibernation and found and killed the snake which was a rattlesnake with six rattles.
