Motley, Ala. Dear Brethren: Death has visited our portals and robbed us of one of our promising young members in the person of Bro. Tyler B. Tidwell, son of Brother W.D. Tidwell and brother of J.T. Tidwell; and in this sad death our Lodge loses a valuable young member, and a supporter of the principles of our order; the home a lovable and obedient son and brother; the community a bright, promising and industrious young man; the church a young member although Brother W.D. Tidwell had but entered upon the threshold of manhood, yet the Creator bath seen fit to call him away. Therefore, be it resolved: 1st, That we deplore the loss. but bow in submission to the will of God, Who doeth all things well. 2nd. That we extend to the bereaved father and family our sincere heartfelt sympathies, and we will pray the Father of all dispensations to comfort, shield and protect them; and may this dispensation bind their hearts closer to each other, and closer to God. 3rd, That a copy of these resolutions be spead on the minutes of the Lodge, a copy be given Brother Tidwell and family, and a copy be sent to the Alexander City Outlook for publication, W.M. Vickers. R.W. Thompson A.L. Kennady. Additional Comments: He is buried Union-Motley Cemetery Clay County, AL.
