Ashland Progress
On March 19, 1912, God called Home our beloved sister Mrs. M. M. Todd. She was 
laid to rest in the Concord cemetery on March 20. She leaves, a husband and five 
children and a host of friends and relatives to mourn her loss. She was a noble 
Christian, an affectionate mother and obedient wife. To know her was to love her. 
We say to the bereaved husband, bow in submission to the will of God. "The Lord 
giveth and the Lord takeaway, Blessed be the name of the Lord". J. W. Carpenter
