H. Todd, died suddenly at a neighbor's house. She had left home with her daughter Obera to go on a short errand. When she started home she became suddenly ill and died in a very few minutes. She was buried at Old Poplar Springs, the family burying place. Mr. and Mrs. Todd had been living at Barfield for the last two or three years. Mrs. Todd leaves her husband and six children bereaved, two girls and four boys. She was Miss Delia Sides before her marriage. She was indeed a help meet to her husband and a loving and self-sacrificing mother to her children. Her unexpected death was a great shock to her family and many friends. Mrs. Todd was a member of the Methodist church, having been a faithful member since seventeen years of age. She was. born July 22, 1872, and died July 23, 1920, at the age of 48 years. To the sorrowing family we extend our heartfelt sympathy. A Friend.
