Todd, 85, of Lineville. Rt.3 were today at Oak Grove Methodist Church with the Rev. Hobart Murphree and the Rev. Lester Bullard officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville in charge. Mr. Todd died Tuesday at his residence. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ola Mae Todd of Lineville; a daughter, Mrs. Maudine Short of Lineville: four sons, W.D. Todd of Jacksonville, James B. Todd of Decatur, Charles B. Todd of. Lineville and Robert P. Todd of Birmingham; five sisters, Mrs. Eunice Horn, Mrs. Lovie Whatley. Mrs. Dolly Dean, Mrs. Serinie Hollingsworth and Mrs. Nonie Fields, all of Talladega; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Wayne Short, Dale Short, Jimmy Todd, Billy Todd, Jeff Todd and Tom Hester. Mr. Todd was a lifelong resident of Clay County. He was a retired farmer and a veteran of World War I. He was a member of Lineville Lodge 219, the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Oak Grove Methodist Church.
