Our Mountain Home
James Toland, of Clay, county, died at the home of his son in Oxford, July 25th, 
aged 87 years. The remains were taken to Bluff Springs for burial.

The Anniston Republic: 
After a protracted illness Mr. James Toland died here at the home of his son 
Saturday after, soon. He was well advanced in age years and his long life was one 
of much activity. His death marks the passing of the last of the charter member 
of the Carey Baptist Assocation. He was buried at Bluff Springs Sunday.

He was buried at Mt. Ararat Cemetery, Clay County, AL.
