Anniston Star
Mrs. Carl Tritt age 83. died at her home here early this morning following and 
illness of several weeks.  funeral service will be conducted at Bethel Church at 
1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon by the Rev. L.B. Jones. Interment will be in the 
church cemetery with Jones of Anniston in charge.  Mrs. Tritt is survived by her 
husband, three daughters. Edna Cheatwood, Carroll Tritt and Caroline Tritt, two 
sons Melvin and John Ray Cheatwood; her mother. Mrs. J. W. Morrison of 
Chattanooga; two sisters Mrs. Alma Culver of Hengaer, Mrs. Ollie Davis of 
Chattanooga and three brothers, Thomas and Looney Morrison of Chattanooga, And 
Vernon Morrison of Fort Payne.
