Anniston Star
Royal A. Turner, 60, 1828 Division Dr., in Oxford, died unexpectedly Saturday 
afternoon at Anniston Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at Union 
Baptist Church in Clay County. Time of services is pending. Arrangements will be 
announced by Gray Brown-Service Mortuary. Mr. Royal is survived by five sisters, 
Miss Isabel Turner and Mrs. Cilia Bowling, both of Oxford; Mrs. Adell Freeman of 
Delta, Rt. 1; Mrs. Julia Hardy of Lineville and Mrs. Camma Spears, of Section; 
three brothers, Alfred B. and Edward, both of Oxford, and John Tom of Rainsville, 
and several nieces and nephews. He was a retired textile worker.
