Lineville Headlight
J. W. Tyson was born Oct. 13, 1846, in the state of Georgia. He moved to Alabama 
some 25 or 30 years ago. He is survived by his wife and four children, three sons 
and one daughter, and several grandchildren. Departed this life July 12, 1912, 
age 65 years 9 months and 7 days. Bro. Tyson was made a Mason at Delta about 20 
years ago. He was a member in good standing at the time of his death. He was laid 
to rest in the Good Hope cemetery with Masonic honors. Bro. Tyson was very much 
devoted to his family. He was a loving father and a faithful companion....
