Alexander City Outlook
Funeral services for Mrs. Carrie Stewart Vaughn, 54, were held at the Mt. Moriah 
Church Saturday afternoon. She died at Russell Hospital Friday after a short 
illness. Rev. Grady Birchfield and Rev. Eldridge Easterwood officiated at the 
rites. Interment was in the Mt. Aarat cemetery, Brady Whatley Funeral Home 
directing. Surviving are five sons, Buey, Floyd, J. R., W. T. and James S. 
Vaughn, all of Cragford, Ala., Rt 1., and three daughters, Mrs. Ceylon Browning, 
Millerville, Mrs. Eloyes Stewart, Alexander City, Rt 4, and Mrs. Magdalene Hand, 
Opelika.
