Funeral services were held for William Alexander Voss 90, Sunday at Bethel 
Baptist Church at 3 o'clock. Burial was in the church cemetery with Blair 
Funeral Home, Ashland, in charge. Mr. Voss was born in Tallapoosa County but had 
lived most of his life in Clay County. Mr. Voss bad been actively engaged in 
farming until a few years ago when he retired because of ill health. Mr. Voss 
had been very active in church and school activities ta the Mountain Community. 
Mr. Voss died at Clay County Hospital Friday night following an illness of 
several years. He is survived by his wife. Mrs. Apeacha Jones Voss, whom he 
married 70 years ago, five daughters, Mrs. J. A. Hodnett, Cragford Mrs. T. P. 
Hanson Alexander City, Mrs. C. Brewer, Mrs. Bama Reddick, Winter Garden, Fla., 
Mrs. C V. Riddle, Montezuma. Ga., four sons, J. V. Voss Alexander City, J. A. 
Voss and E. R. Voss Cragford, and W. O. Voss, LaGrange, Ga.
