Alexander City Outlook
Eighteen-year-old Jack Wallace Voss, Rt. 1, Cragford, was killed Saturday night 
when the automobile in which he was riding left the road and overturned. The 
accident occurred on Alabama Highway 49 near Dadeville. Voss was dead on arrival 
at the Russell Hospital. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the 
Bethel Church in Clay County with the Revs. Grady Birchfield and Elridge 
Easterwood officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Radney Funeral 
home in charge of the arrangements. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. J. A. 
Voss, Cragford; seven brothers, Paul H. Voss and David Voss, both of Cragford, 
Leonard Voss and Leroy Voss, Alexander City; Carl Voss, Birmingham, Franklin 
Voss, U. S. Air Force and William P. Voss. Tuscaloosa and grandparent, Mrs. 
Mattie M. Riddle, Cragford.
