Anniston Star
Services for Miss Cora B. Wade, 88 of Delta, Rt. 1, in Clay County will be today 
at 2 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Bobby Burroughs officiating. 
Burial will be in the church cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville in 
charge. The family will receive friends at the funeral home; Miss Wade died 
Saturday at the Lineville Geriatric Center. v Survivors include a sister, Mrs. 
Ruth Russell of Oxford. Pallbearers will be Brenton Braswell, Jimmy Jordan, Cub 
Haynes, Robert Howell, Henry Davis, Lawrence Buckhannan, Shep Easterwood, and 
Parker Gray. Miss Wade was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County. She was 
a retired employee of the Anniston Army Depot and a member of Bethel Baptist 
Chruch for 60 years.
