Ashland Progress
Mrs. J. H. Wade, age 61, died at her home on Route 1, Delta, last Sunday 
following a brief illness. Funeral services were held at Bethel on Monday 
conducted by Rev. F. J. Ingram and Rev. J. W. Grubb. The deceased is survived by 
her husband, four sons, two daughters. The sons are J. N. Wade of Delta, Russell, 
of Jay, Fla., Stephen and Garrett of Heflin and Coleman of Jay, Fla. The 
daughters are Mrs. A. M. Davis and Miss Nobie Wade of Delta. Interment was in the 
Bethel cemetery with Blair in charge. Pallbearers were Dr. O. F. Staples, A. J. 
White, B. T. Adams, D. S. Johnson, Alton Haywood and W. N. Strickland.
