M. Wade, 81, retired farmer, died yesterday morning at his home at Delta. Rt. 1. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sarah Wade; three daughters. Miss Cora Wade of Delta. Rt. 1, Mrs. B. T. Adams of Delta, and Mrs. M. R. Russell of Anniston; three grandchildren, and two greatgrandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Active pallbearers will be Henry Benton Adams, Breman Russell, Ike Haynes, Parker Grey. Billy Miller, Virgil Bonner, and Easterwood. Honorary pallbearers will be J. J. Swope, Dr. Suits, Charley Jones, D. S. Johnson, J. H. Easterwood, A. P. Cheatwood, I. L. Turner, Martis Howell, Jim Miller. W. P. Pierce, and Alex Haynes. Ashland Progress: The death of a pioneer citizen, Mr. Miller Wade, age 81, was learned with sorrow to his many friends, on Feb. 16th. Mr. Wade passed away at his home in Bethel community after a long illness. His life was a great blessing to all who knew him in his community and church. Funeral services were held Feb. 19th, at Bethel Church with the Rev. E. F. Daniel officiating, assisted by Rev. C. R. Harrington. Blair directing. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sara Elizabeth Stephens Wade, three daughters, Miss Cora Wade, Mrs. B. T. Adams and Mrs. M. G. Russell; one brother Charlie Wade; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Masons were in charge of graveside services.
