Clay County Watchman
Mrs. M. L. E. Waits, wife of Dr. 0. K. Waits, died at her residence near Delta, 
in this county, on Tuesday the 17th inst. She was about 33 years of age and had 
been a consistent and devoted member of the M. E. Church South for a number of 
years. She leaves to morn her death, her husband and six children, besides a 
large number of relatives and friends. She was a good and affectionate wife and 
mother, and her death is a serious loss to her family. Her remains were brought 
to Ashland for interment Wednesday.
