Alexander City Outlook
Henry Langston Waldrop, lifelong resident of Clay County, died suddenly Friday 
afternoon at his home in New Site. Besides his wife, Mrs. Hester Waldrop, Mr. 
Waldrop is survived by one son, A. L. Waldrop; two daughters, Mrs. Curly 
Burdette, of Cragford, Mrs. Willie Bell Parish, of Wadley, Route 2; six 
grandchildren; one brother, J. I. Waldrop, of Cragford, Route 1; three sisters, 
Mrs. Ada Allen, Mrs. Delia Smith and Mrs. Minnie Henkle. Funeral services were 
held Sunday morning at 11 o'clock from the Mt. Pisgah Church with Rev. Mr. 
Birchfield officiating. Interment was in Bethany cemetery; Sam Anderson 
directing.
