Funeral service for James Waldrup age 54 who died last Thursday afternoon at 4:15 
was held at Cragford, Alabama at the Weesabulga Baptist church. Rev. C. M. Mezick 
conducted services with Johnson and Sanders in charge.
Mr. Waldrup was born and reared in Cragford, but for the past 14 years made his 
home in LaFayette. where he has a host of friends to mourn his passing. He is 
survived by three children. Mrs. Gordon House LaFayette, Mrs. S. H. Harris 
Columbus, and James Winford Waldrup of Riverview; five brothers, Ocie Waldrup, 
Wedowee, Bob and Archie Waldrup, Texas, Joyce Waldrup, Elba, Alabama, and Milton 
Waldrup of Florida; one sister, Mrs. Lissie McConnell LaGrange; three 
grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
