Walker affiliated with Weathers Lodge No. 890, A. F. and A. M. July 5, 1873, and until his health failed, he was a faithful attendant. He was a true Mason, and a loving father, a good neighbor and a Christian hearted man, being a member of the Presbyterian church. Realizing no one can take his place, home is broken up, never to be what it once was, but have a fixed determination dear child to be true to God and his service and someday meet father in the Sweet By and By, where there will be no sorrows and tears. He lived a life that will justify us in saying "Blessed are the Dead, which die in the Lord, from henceforth yea sayeth the spirit, for they rest from their labors and their works do follow them." Rev. 14: 13. Bro. Walker's remains were laid to rest in Ebenezer cemetery near Cragford, Dec. 16, 1920, with Masonic Honors, Bro. A. S. Roberts conducting he funeral. "Gone but not forgotten." Rev.
