Our Mountain Home
Rev. J. W. Walker died at his home four miles west of here Tuesday afternoon. His 
death was very sudden and due to heart failure. Mr. Walker was 67 years old. He 
is survived by a wife and large family. Some of his children are in this county 
and some are in the west. He spent all his life in this county and has been a 
good citizen. Rev. Walker has been an ordained minister for about 25 years. He 
has been pastor of several of the Baptist churches in this county.
