The Rev. Cecil Little and the Rev. Murray Seay officiated, and burial was in the new cemetery Mr. Walker died suddenly at his home early Monday morning following a heart attack. He had lived in Clay County all his life. Mr. Walker served in the Navy during World War I. At the time of his death, he was employed as a shipping clerk at Higgins Slacks Company in Lineville. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eva Lee Walker; one daughter Eva LaJuan Walker. Lineville; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. David B Walker, Rt. 1, Ashland: two brothers, Levis Walker, Ashland, Jesse Walker, Rt. 1. Ashland; four sisters, Mrs. Lorene Spell, Utah, Mrs. A. G. Chapman, Lineville, Mrs. Voncile White, Lineville, and Miss Joyce Walker, Rt. 1, Ashland. Active pallbearers were: Melvln Chapman, Harold Parker, Vermont King, Sam Jones, Gerold Matthews, Lynn Short. Honorary pallbearers were: Jack Zorn, Emyl Griffin. W. O. Parrish, S. O. Higgins, William Carpenter, Charles McKinley, Fred Monroe.
