Miss Katie Virgie Walker, 66, of Wedowee, Rt. 3, died Thursday in a Dadeville 
nursing home. Services were scheduled today at 10 a.m. at Corinth Baptist Church 
with the Rev. Albert Myers and the Rev. Hollis Horn officiating. Burial was in 
the adjoining cemetery with Blair Brown-Service Funeral Home in charge. Survivors 
include a sister, Mrs. Mary Ruth Bowen of Alexander City; and three brothers, 
Thomas Fred Walker of Detroit, Ted C. Walker of Alexander City and James L. 
Walker of Wedowee.
