Rev. O. C. Nichols and Rev. Dean conducted the services with Blair directing. He died at his home near Cragford early Tuesday morning at the age of 60 years. His home has always been in that part of the county. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Bell Padgett Walker, two sons, Hoyt and Ezra; four grandchildren; six brothers H.J. Walker, Lineville, D. P. Walker, New Site, Bowen Walker, Lineville, Lee Walker, Cragford, Dewey Walker, Cragford; and Jay Walker, Riverview; five sisters, Mrs. Marvin Thompson, Lanette; Mrs. Henry Caldwell, Roanoke, Mrs. Beman Caldwell, Roanoke Mrs. Andrew Caldwell, Alexander City; Mrs. Arthur York, Atlanta, Ga. Pallbearers were his six brothers, Honorary pallbearers were his grandson, Eugene Walker, and Nephews, Charlie Hugh Walker, Nolan Walker, Ralph Walker, Ira Caldwell, Corbit Walker and Chester Ray Thompson.
