Ashland Progress
On Sunday Dec 19, the funeral service conducted by the pastor of the Millerville 
Baptist the body of Mrs. Catherine Wallace was buried in the local cemetery. Mrs. 
Wallace who formally lived this community, was a little more that 91 years when 
the summons came. At the time her death she was living with her son in Gadsden. 
Mr. and Mrs. Will Wallace and two of their sons from Gadsden were present at the 
funeral. The deceased had been a member of the Baptist church for many years and 
those who knew her a beautiful Chistian life.
