C. Walters The subject of this sketch was born Sept. 1st, 1872, and died Nov. 24, 1920, being 48 years of age. He was a member of the Congregational church at Bethel and had been deacon and clerk of the church for several years as well as superintendent of the Sunday school. He was always in his place, and in his death the church has lost one of its most loyal mem bers, the community one of its bests citizens and Mrs Walters a devoted husband. How little one understands why this good man was taken, but uod knows best. Truly a good man has left us, and yet he is not gone; his influence a bides, and. may this tall like a mantle of benediction oh wife and be her guardian angel always, We know she is lonely and sad here without him, but it will not be long until we will answer the call too. Then we will meet him where parting comes no more then let us try to carry on the work that he left for us. Vida Williamson.
