Ashland Progress
Mr. Jake Watts, one of the old citizens of the county died at his home near 
Pyriton last Thursday night and was buried at Concord cemetery on Friday. He was 
about 86 years of age and was one of the pioneer citizens of that community. He 
leaves a wife and a large family of children.
