Ashland Progress
Mrs. Union Watts, age 36, died Sunday night at 8 :00 at the home of her husband's 
parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Watts. Mrs. Watts, with her husband, Union Watts, had 
just returned from a visit with friends in Indiana and while sitting in the room 
with the family she dropped dead. She is survived by her husband. The deceased 
was born in Belfast Ireland and came to the United States in 1922. She was 
married to Mr. Watts in 1934. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at Bethel 
Baptist church by Rev. Grady Birchfield, after which interment was made in the 
Bethel cemetery. Blair in charge.
