Anniston Star
S. W. Watts. 89, died at his residence on 415 Court St., Saturday afternoon. 
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Concord Church in Clay County, 
with burial in the adjoining cemetery. Officiating were the Revs. D. Hurst and 
Gustan Fuller. Surviving are the wife, Mary Talladega; four daughters Mrs. Rosann 
Hurst, Mrs. Effie Chandler. Mrs. Maudie Carpenter and Mrs. Charsie Hurst, all of 
Talladega; and one sister, Mrs. Nina Gilley, Wedowee; 14 grandchildren and 27 
great-grandchildren.
