Funeral will be at 2 p.m. at Manning Chapel Methodist Church, Gay County, with the Rev. Charles Haynie and the Rev. Floyd Sparks officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Gray Brown-Service Mortuary in charge. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Margaret Watts; two daughters, Miss Ermalene Watts and Mrs. Mollie Gaddy, both of Alexandria; five sons James Watts, Hugh Watts, and Olen Watts, all of Alexandria, Gene Watts and Robert Watts, both of Ohatchee; five sisters, Mrs. Clara Headrick, Mrs. Dessie Headrick and Mrs. Jewel Patterson, all of Lineville, Mrs. James Owens of Lincoln, and Mrs. Ester Davis or Sylacauga; four brothers, Jakie Watts of Birmingham, Wes Watts, T. D. Watts and Clinton Watts, all of Lineville; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Earl Clark, R. B. Sawyer, H. D. Kirby, Ed Sewell, Charles Snider and Kernel Broome. Mr. Watts was a native of Clay County and lived in Calhoun County 30 years. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 208. Masonic graveside rites will be performed. The body will remain at the residence until time of services.
