Ashland Progress
Final rites for Mrs. Maggie G. Watts of Lineville Rt 3 were held at Campbell 
Crossroads Church at 2 o'clock pm. on June 5th, conducted by Rev. James Duke. 
Interment was in nearby cemetery with Biair Funeral Home in charge. Pallbearers 
were W. P. Watts, Charles Watts, Manuel Watts, William Lybrand, Jim Pruet, J. B. 
Watts. Mrs. Watts passed away at the home of her son, E. D. Watts, on June 3rd at 
the age of 83. She was a member of Campbell Crossroads Methodist Church. She is 
survived by two sons, E. D. and H. J. Watts of Lineville Rt 3, one brother, 
Johnnie Griffin, fourteen grandchildren and a large number of greatgrandchildren.

She was buried at Mineral Springs Cemetery, Clay County, AL.
