Ashland Progress
M. N. Watts died Sunday at the age of 64 years in the Springhill community. 
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Fairview cemetery with Rev S. C. 
Ray and Rev. Dae Hurs conducting and Blair directing. Surviving are the wife, 
Mrs. Vennie Watts; three daughters, Mrs. Terrel Mitchell, Miss Christine Watts 
and Miss Lillie Mae Watts; one son James Ocie Watts; two grandsons five sisters 
and one brother. Pallbearers were W. M. Wilcox, Robert Elders, Robert Hallman, 
Jim Hudgins, Ernest Hudgins and Arthur Hudgins.
