Our Mountain Home
J. G. Watts, 45, died of pneumonia at his home at of pneumonia Coosa Street 
Saturday morning 5 o'clock, after the illness of several days. The body was taken 
to Concord, for funeral services and interment Sunday. Mr. Watts, with his 
family, had been a resident of Talladega for five years, removing here from 
Concord. He is survived by his wife and nine children, Mrs. Cora Raughton, Mrs. 
Lillie Frost, Mrs. Tiny Johns, Mrs. Ella Lee Thompson, Augustus Watts, Allie 
Watts, Sam Watts. Bertie Watts, and a 10-months-old child; three brothers, R. L. 
Watts. Concord; S. H. Watts, Concord, and J. H. Walts, Concord, and one sister, 
Mrs. Lizzie Burt, Concord.
