Lineville Headlight
On Wednesday morning the death angel visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. Felix 
Watwood and bore away the spirit of the former's precious mother, Mrs. Sarah 
Watwood, who has been making her home with them from the past several years since 
her husband died. She was a good Christian woman and greatly loved by the whole 
community. She will be greatly missed by those so near and dear to her and also 
by the surrounding community. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. W.M. 
Garrett and F.J. Ingram. We extend our sympathy to the bereaved family and other 
relatives.

She was born Nov 4, 1848, Randolph County Alabama, she was the daughter of 
Andrew Bowen.
Her marker at Delta Baptist church cemetery:
Wife of J. W. Watwood [John W. Watwood, buried Union Baptist Church Randolph 
County]
Mother of Carrie Daugherty, Helen Phillips, Abie Summerlin, John Watwood, Emma 
Mitchell, Mollie Johnson, Anderson Watwood & Felix Watwood.
