Anniston Star
Services for Webster Welch, 87, of Lineville will be Monday at 2 p.m. at New 
Hope Baptist Church in Barfield with the Revs. S. Larry Heard, Eddie Hunter, and 
Ted Hale officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The family 
will receive friends tonight from 2-8 at Garrett Funeral Home of Lineville. The 
body will be at the church an hour before services. Mr. Webster died Thursday at 
Lineville Nursing Facility. Survivors include a daughter, Annie Brown of 
Lineville; three sons: Howard Welch and Bobby Welch, both of Lineville and Roy 
Welch of Anniston; 16 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will 
be Paul Welch, Roy Welch, James Frank Ford, Michael Ford, Wayne Ford, and Pee 
Wee Caldwell. Mr. Welch, a native of Clay County, was a member of New Hope 
Baptist Church.
